What is the atmosphere like in your facility?
We are based out of a collaborative wellness facility with other disciplines within the office building. While we are our own business entitiy within the office, we share our front waiting room with the other practicioners. Upon arrival to our facility, you are welcome to wait comfortably in the front where we also have a coffee bar for your convenience.
What do I wear?
You will disrobe to your comfort level for your session, you will be covered appropriatly as each area is addressed.
Are all the therapists licensed?
All the massage therapists are fully licensed to practice massage therapy in the state of Texas. Their licenses are displayed in the therapy room for you to view. Each therapist has their 500 hour massage education and additional certifications allowing them to specialize in different forms of therapy.
How often should I receive a massage?
Your therapist will recommend how frequently your massage therapy sessions should be in achieving your health goals. Maintenance massage sessions are strongly recommended in a 4-6 week time frame with more frequent visits being necessary as muscular issues arise.
What should I expect before, during, and after my session?
It is required for all clients to complete a health history form before their first session, this will be emailed to you or provided to you upon arrival. Your therapist will consult with you prior to your session to discuss any health concerns and/or muscular issues you may be having. During your sesssion, you may be asked to move/lift slightly depending on the therapy provided (your therapist will guide you) but overall that is your time to relax and decompress. It is recommended to take it easy after your massage and avoid any heavy lifting or super strenous exercise.
What is recommended to do to maintain the benefits of my massage?
We have several other pracitioners that we network with and are happy to refer you to them, (i.e. MD, PT, DC, LPC, etc.) as needed. While massage therapy is only one part of your overall health and wellness, it is important to engage in some form of physical activity along with a balanced diet to maintain the positive effects of massage.
Our bottom line is to always provide you a detailed therapeutic massage session that helps you get back to going and doing and achieving your health and wellness goals.
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to ALL clients, the following policies are honored: 24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity to adequately allow time for each client. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice, the prepaid service missed will be forfeited and/or you will be responsible for paying the full amount for the missed appointment. We appreciate your understanding in this manner and we greatly appreciate your time!
All appointments are scheduled for you to have the full length of time, 30, 60, 90, 2 hour session of hands on massage time with 5 minutes before and after each session to disrobe, redress, and reschedule/checkout for each appointment. Please understand that if you are late, we are unable to extend the appointment time due to the next appointment following yours.
